Christiane Jatahy

E se elas fossem para Moscou?

Brazilian director and filmmaker Christiane Jatahy transports her retelling of Chekhov’s The Three Sisters to the stage, screen and city, unpacking multiple points-of-view at the intersection between reality and fiction, theater and cinema, past and present. Three women are drowning in deep dissatisfaction, a suffering that opens the door to change. Is emigration the answer?
